Mid-morning update: waves in the knee to waist high range. Lower tide is letting a few more break, but it’s slow. Palm Beach north is head high, easy. Wind will get stronger out of the north. Tomorrow looking good upcoast!!!#thankyousurfing

Trace showing again today.The last few days have shown unrideable (sorta rideable) swell everyday! Wind picks up tonight and remains somewhat elevated before blowing hard east then east southeast Thursday/Friday. Sounds like some fun windswell on tap! #ThankYouSurfing

Another day of north swell! But, it only turned on for a brief period mid afternoon. I can’t remember seeing such consistent, small north swell without getting a good sized day. Thanks to @ocean_is_fire_man for the midday update! Southeast windswell for late in the workweek. #ThankYouSurfing

Trace north swell. (Again!) Wind comes up on Thursday in to Friday. Rideable south windswell to result. Watching a system for the weekend that could throw Miami something nice. More details as forecasts start to come in alignment. #ThankYouSurfing

10:30am Real time beach view. North swell continues. It seems to be breaking better with the lower tide. Thigh to stomach+ There’s still a good amount of swell incoming, so I imagine it will continue this afternoon. Upcoast has a few spots firing, so that’s a good option, too. Go surfing! #thankyousurfing

Brrrr. Temps really dropped last night! Today we have a building swell with North wind coming up, as well. Nice numbers on the buoy, but it should be pretty blown out by the time it arrives. Ridable this afternoon and tomorrow, especially early. Then, the build is on for another swell! #thankyousurfing

11:30 am update: Swell is showing better now. It’s like knee high and getting rideable. Wind is on its way, but we might get lucky if the swell comes up and wind stays off it down here. Better chance for size later, but wind likely on it. Have fun! Waves and waves and waves… #thankyousurfing

The wave machine has been set to the ?position. Watch the buoys upcoast for action from the North. Should start picking up something around Canaveral in the pre dawn. We’ll report early mañana in case anything sneaky shows. #thankyousurfing

10:15am Update: Small trace starting to show. Buoy has picked up significantly since earlier this morning. It’s already showing numbers similar to what arrived on Friday evening and is still increasing! Looks for waves to pick up all afternoon. We’ll keep ya posted. #thankyousurfing

The best day of the year was February 8th, 2016.

The swell was perfect for SoBe! Solid overhead A-frame tubes all day long. The rest of the coast looked good, but for that day, Miami stole the show!
