Do you surf?
Yes.
Favorite thing about shooting?
The adventure that comes with taking photos as well as the beauty of the unknown. Those are two big ones. Also, being able to brainstorm ideas in my head and then bring them to life always keeps me wanting to shoot more. Being able to inspire others is the icing on the cake.
Least favorite thing about shooting?
Definitely the price of camera gear lol!
Shooting set-up?
My current set up is the Canon 5d Mark iii. My two main lenses that I use are the Tokina 16-28mm F2.8 and the Canon 50mm F1.8. When I shoot in the water I use the Mark iii inside of an Aquatech water housing.
How can the surf community help you?
By sharing the stoke, creating good vibes and spreading positivity.
Best day ever?
Hmm, I’m not sure if I can actually slim it down to one single “best day”. I think if the vibes are good an the waves are firing, I almost always end up calling it the “best day ever” haha.

Best travel experience?
That’s a tough one… travelling a good portion of Europe was super sick, but I think that Playa Hermosa, Costa Rica still takes first place on the list. The raw beauty of the people, nature and culture there is unreal. A massive bonus is also the world class surf that pours in daily.

Tiring as hell (if you swim and shoot from the water) but also super fun and gets the adrenaline juices flowing!
